Labour is already delivering in Holderness. Following Tory Mathew Grove’s huge cuts in officer numbers and closed Police Stations; Labour’s Keith Hunter, Police and Crime Commissioner is restoring community policing. Humberside Police is on its biggest ever recruitment drive. 400 new officers are being trained and on our streets soon. Here in Holderness, Hedon and Hornsea Police Stations are back in service.

And in Hedon we have replaced and enhanced the town’s entire CCTV system with the help of a grant from the PCC’s Crime Prevention fund. Practical improvements for better, safer communities.

The Tories made a shambles of running our Police Service. With Labour, Keith Hunter is restoring investment in our local community policing, which is what people want. A Labour County Council would work closely with the PCC to ensure local government had the right support in place on crime prevention.
