Graham Stuart MP, your MP, claims that he believes fully in the values of our NHS and the need for it to remain free at the point of use.  But does he?

Let’s take a look at Mr Stuart’s voting record.

In 2016, Graham Stuart voted AGAINST the publication of NHS Sustainability and Transformation Plans and against adequate consultation on them despite the motion warning that these plans are expected to lead to significant cuts or changes to frontline services and that the process lacks transparency.

In 2011, Graham Stuart voted AGAINST dropping the Health and Social Care Bill and against entering cross party talks on reforming NHS commissioning despite widespread opposition, and warnings that such a bill would damage patient care and lead to longer waiting times.

In 2011, Graham Stuart voted AGAINST fundamentally changing the Government’s plans for NHS reforms including dropping the damaging market-based approach.

Does this sound like an MP who has the NHS’ best intentions at heart? You be the judge.
