Graham Stuart MP showed his true colours during the Brexit debate yesterday. Loitering at the bar with one of his Tory chums, he proceeded to heckle Alison Thewliss (Glasgow Central) (SNP) as she tried to speak. The Speaker was forced to intervene, saying:

“I say to the Government Minister standing at the Bar: be quiet. I have not the slightest interest in hearing you yelling in the background. Sit down, be quiet and listen”

Mr Stuart continued to act in a belligerent manner, until finally the Speaker lost patience and exclaimed:

“Do not look at me and tell me what’s what or imply that you can. Be quiet and do not be discourteous to the Member on her feet. If you cannot be quiet, Mr Stuart, you are most welcome to leave the Chamber, and we are perfectly capable of coping without you!”

Beverley and Holderness Labour Party agree – we could all cope without Graham Stuart, in fact to be rid of him would be a blessed release!

As junior bag carrier to the PM, had the vote gone ahead he would have supported May’s atrocious deal, leaving his constituents and the country worse off. This despite the fact that in our straw poll on Saturday 8th in Hedon 87% of those asked rejected the deal!

What an arrogant self-serving man he is!
