I have lived in Holderness for all of my life. I was born in Withernsea, and lived in Patrington and Thorngumbald during my school years. I went to South Holderness School and Hull college.

I now live in Hedon with my wife. My children went to Inmans and South Holderness schools.

I worked in engineering for twenty three years before retraining as a Social Worker.

I became a Hedon Town Councillor in 2013 and I am the current Mayor of Hedon.

At present I am my wife’s carer and volunteer for the Carers Advisory Group and the local MS society.
