David Kirlew-Morris
Chair of Holderness Branch, Communications & Social Media Officer for the CLP, Vice-Chair of Thorngumbald Parish Council

Since 2014 I have worked in local government – specialising in council tax, insolvency and debt recovery. Prior to that I have worked in the entertainment and software development industries, as well as various levels of education.
I have been fascinated by politics for many years and eventually joined the Labour Party soon after the 2019 General Election. I could not stand by and feel like I was doing nothing when Conservative policies are causing so much damage to society and the country.
I firmly believe that a good government should be there for those in need. It should offer support to the vulnerable and give everyone the opportunity to have a happy life. It absolutely shouldn’t just be there for the rich and big businesses.
Labour Party members work tirelessly to secure a better future for all. I am proud to be part of this party and will do what I can for all of you.
