“Leadership means taking responsibility in government. I live in here in the Minster & Woodmansey ward. I understand the issues that matter to residents.”

Ron has a distinguished 30-year career in the Armed Forces, serving in conflict zones across the world. He has worked with The Pentagon and the MoD, and was military adviser to the UN Ambassador in Iraq. He lives here in Beverley, supporting the local community through campaigning and charity work, and recently led The Royal British Legion team that raised over £50,000 in the past two years for veterans and their families. He pledges to be present, visible and accountable.

“The Lib Dems have been a disaster on Beverley Town Council and ineffective on ERYC. Tory councillors wave poor decisions through. I will be accessible to residents and listen to your views and concerns. If you have a problem or a question, I pledge to respond quickly and effectively.”

Ron will be setting out his plan to hold the council to account over housing, the shocking unavailability of local NHS dental services, flood prevention, financial mismanagement and much more.

If you live in Minster and Woodmansey, vote for Ron Laden in the upcoming Minster By-Election on Thu 29 Feb.
